Sir Keir Starmer will return to the Commons for PMQs (Image: House of Commons)
Sir Keir Starmer will return to the House of Commons on Wednesday for the first Prime Minister’s Questions showdown since the resignation of Angela Rayner and his latest Cabinet reshuffle.
A week ago, he was forced to offer a full-throated defence of Ms Rayner, before she later quit both of her government jobs and the Labour deputy leadership after underpaying tax on a new Brighton home.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch will also be under pressure to perform, after her efforts last week were panned by members of her Shadow Cabinet.
It also comes exactly a week before Donald Trump touches down for his UK state visit, as Left-wing MPs put more pressure on the PM to raise Gaza with the US president after Tuesday’s strikes by Israel on Doha.
